The Nikolaiviertel was rebuilt in a partially historicizing manner as the historical center of the capital of the GDR Berlin. It was opened on the occasion of the 750th anniversary of the city of Berlin in 1987.
A special album: according to the packaging, the film used, Orwo NP27, should be used until 11/1991. It was therefore produced in the GDR before the fall of the Wall. I exposed this ISO 400 film as ISO 100, after some research I decided to develop it in Caffenol C-M. A first for me. Unfortunately, the film was very curved, so that some Newton's rings appeared during the scan, but nevertheless the photos look amazingly good, I think.
